A MARE Fine is a refined continuous surface finish suitable for both walls and floors, designed for interior architectural applications.

Characterised by a soft yet expressive material texture, the finish subtly reveals the natural trowel marks created during hand application, enhancing the artisanal and authentic character of the surface.

This handcrafted effect gives depth, movement, and individuality to each project while maintaining a sophisticated and contemporary aesthetic.

A MARE Fine can be applied over a wide range of suitable substrates, including existing tiles, wet areas, plasterboard, cement sheeting, MDF surfaces, and concrete substrates, making it suitable for both renovations and new architectural projects.

The result is a sustainable and highly distinctive finish that combines material research, environmental responsibility, and contemporary design within a seamless continuous surface system.

Developed from the Oleomalta® base system, A MARE incorporates more than 60% recycled seashells derived from certified recycling processes, transforming natural waste materials into a high-performance architectural surface.

A MARE finishes can be tinted using selected colours from the Oltremateria® colour palette.

Please note that customised A MARE colour samples are currently not available. At this stage, samples are available in the standard A MARE finish only.

All A MARE finishes can also be completed with ECOPUR® by Oltremateria®, an advanced eco-resin technology designed to actively purify and ionise indoor air while contributing to healthier interior environments through continuous air-purifying performance.
